Flex Quality
Quality is central to everything we do at Flex and we have achieved SEQOHS accreditation to demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of Occupational Health.
SEQOHS
Flex has SEQOHS accreditation - the industry standard for occupational health. We provide a Safe, Effective, Quality, Occupational Health Service.
“We would like to thank Sarah Fowler for her unswerving diligence and attention to detail in the careful preparation and presentation of all relevant evidence.” (SEQOHS Accreditation Report 2021).
"They continue to meet the standards for SEQOHS accreditation and should therefore be accredited." (SEQOHS Renewal Report 2023).
Audit & Analysis
We provide management information reports detailing the volume and type of OH activity along with the timescales from case opened to closed.
Our record keeping and clinical output is periodically audited by independent occupational health specialists (anonymised data only).
“The auditing and clinical governance evidence provided confirms an ongoing systematic approach and commitment to client care.“ (SEQOHS Renewal Report 2022).
Data Protection
Flex is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and we adhere to Data Protection legislation in everything we do.
Management referral reports can only be issued with employee consent whilst consultation notes are held medically in confidence, just like GP and hospital records.
All information is processed lawfully and securely through our ISO 27001 accredited secure OH portal OrchidLive.
Our privacy notice can be found here.
Communication
Developing collaborative and long-lasting relationships is at the heart of what we do and is key to effective occupational health provision.
Clients enjoy direct access to a clinician by phone and email, usually with a speedy same-day response.
Referrals are processed as soon as they arrive and our OH portal has a live status bar to keep clients updated on the progress of a case.
Training
Managers are often afraid to conduct risk assessments or discuss illness with employees which can result in frustration and prolonged absences.
Where needed, we can refer clients to our training partners for bespoke training on managing risk assessments, sickness absence and musculoskeletal health.
We have a comprehensive Manager / HR pack with advice on how to make the most of the OH process. Onboarding meetings are provided free of charge.
Expertise
Clinical advice and interpretation of health surveillance results requires competent and skilful clinicians.
Sarah Fowler holds two first class clinical degrees, an MBA and health surveillance certifications.
Consultant Occupational Physicians are available for very complex cases and pension applications.
Continuous professional development ensures that advice reflects contemporary evidence and current legislation.
